Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using The Society Manager application and services ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.
Description of Service
The Society Manager is a housing society management application that provides tools for:
- Managing maintenance dues and payments
- Task and complaint management
- Expense tracking and reporting
- Member directory and communication
- Document storage and sharing
User Accounts
When you create an account with us, you must provide accurate, complete, and current information. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access
- Ensuring your contact information is up to date
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent or illegal activities.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Infringe upon the rights of others
- Upload malicious software or harmful content
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other systems
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users
- Share false or misleading information
- Use the Service for any purpose other than society management
User Content
You retain ownership of content you upload to the Service. By uploading content, you grant us a non-exclusive license to use, store, and display that content as necessary to provide the Service.
You are responsible for ensuring that your content does not violate any third-party rights or applicable laws. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms.
Payment Terms
For paid subscription plans:
- Fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis
- All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated
- We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days notice
- Failure to pay may result in service suspension
Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by The Society Manager and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Service without prior written consent.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:
- The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
- Defects will be corrected
- The Service is free of viruses or harmful components
- The results of using the Service will meet your requirements
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Society Manager shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses resulting from:
- Your use or inability to use the Service
- Unauthorized access to your data
- Statements or conduct of any third party on the Service
- Any other matter relating to the Service
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Society Manager, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising out of your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination:
- Your right to use the Service will cease immediately
- We may delete your account and associated data
- Provisions that should survive termination will remain in effect
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
